Special Notes:
- In each of the following General
Education 2000 areas:
Math/Sciences, Social Sciences, Humanities, and Arts students must
take at least
one course designated List A.
- In each of the following General
Education 2000 areas:
Applied Science & Technology,
Math/Sciences, Social Sciences,
Humanities, and Arts students
must satisfy the requirements with courses in two
different academic disciplines (courses with two different prefixes).
- Students may use one course from
major requirements to satisfy General
Education 2000 requirements, if applicable. Courses
within the major requirement
are defined as courses required by the major (appearing in the X area
of the audit
sheet), regardless of course prefix.
- Diversity and Basic Math courses may be applied
toward any requirement (major, general
education, etc.).
- With the exception of the diversity
requirement, and the Basic Math Requirement as noted above, no other
double-dipping between GE2K categories is permitted. For example, a course
which appears as List A for one category and List B for another category may
be
applied toward only one of the GE2K categories.
