The deadline to submit your online graduation application for December 2025 is Sunday, October 5th.
Please review your Degree Works audit to make sure all requirements are being met. More information and instructions on using the online application can be found on the graduation preparation page.
“Graduation” is the awarding of a degree and “commencement” is the ceremony to celebrate graduation. Buffalo State celebrates its graduates with a commencement ceremony each May. Students graduating in December will be invited to participate in the May 2026 commencement ceremony.
